London-based counselling and psychotherapy with UKCP-registered therapist
How can counselling help?
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Putney, London SW15. I also work in Fleet Street EC4.
I qualified in 1998 as a relationship counsellor and in 2001 as a UKCP-registered psychotherapist.
For five years I worked with gay men as an HIV and Sexual Health Counsellor at PACE, while also seeing private clients in central London and in Putney, SW15.
Among the issues I work with are anxiety, depression, stress, couple counselling, gay/lgbt counselling, bereavement and life crises around spiritual/sexual issues.
If you are seeking counselling for depression, how to deal with anxiety or bereavement, relationship counselling or you are looking for a gay counsellor or psychotherapy in London, please contact me.
I have experience of working with a variety of issues including relationship problems, lack of confidence and low self-esteem, sexuality, questions of identity and meaning, loneliness and isolation.
Taking the first step towards finding help with issues such as these can be difficult, but therapy can provide a welcoming and safe place in which we can work together to explore better ways of managing your problems.
I see a range of different clients of all ages and from many different cultural backgrounds.
I have worked extensively with issues that are of concern to gay men, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (lgbt) people, including coming out, sexual identity, exploring relationships and growing older as a gay man.
I also offer relationship counselling for couples. To find ways of improving communication can often be a great help in providing a fresh perspective on relationship difficulties such as frequent arguments, work/life balance and sexual problems.
